The Whole Job, One Platform

Everything Members Touch, Handled

The busywork that eats volunteer evenings, done automatically — so the board can get back to the mission.

Your Brand, Instantly

Pick a name and a color — your site is live at your own address in under a minute. Connect your own domain whenever you’re ready.

Events That Run Themselves

Publish events, take registrations and payments, track attendance. Reminders and follow-ups send themselves.

Members in One Place

Sign-ups, renewals, and a self-serve member hub with passwordless sign-in. No spreadsheets.

News & Email

Post updates and send broadcasts members actually read — and turn on the monthly newsletter that compiles your events and news and sends itself. Unsubscribe links handled for you.

Evaluations & CE Certificates

Post-event surveys go out on their own; attendees print formal continuing-education certificates carrying your logo, your colors, and your signature.

On-Demand Learning & CE

Paste a recording link and it becomes a member library — with CE credit earned on demand: a time-verified watch, the evaluation, an optional quiz, and the certificate prints itself.

Board Files & Governance

Agendas, minutes, and budgets in a private library only board members can open. Institutional memory that survives every officer transition.

Treasurer’s Ledger

Import a bank or Xero CSV and OrgHQ categorizes it, folds in your online dues and registrations, and produces a cash-basis Statement of Activities — with month-over-month and year-over-year trends and a monthly reconciliation report that emails itself to the board.

Board Insights

Growth, renewals, event quality, and where new members come from — one page, updated automatically, ready for the board packet.

Digital Member Cards

Every member gets a branded card with a QR code that verifies live status at the door — no printing, no plastic, no forgeries.

Setup, start to finish

Three Steps to a Live Association

1

Name It

Your organization’s name, a web address, and a brand color. That’s the whole form — your site exists before your coffee cools.

2

Add What You Have

Import your member list from a CSV, post your next event, write a welcome update. Each takes a couple of minutes.

3

Turn On Payments

One button connects Stripe in about five minutes. Registrations and dues flow straight to your bank account. Done.

Webinars That Run Themselves, End to End

Connect Zoom once, and a webinar needs nobody behind the curtain — or bring Teams, Google Meet, or any video tool and keep every downstream automation.

Every arrow is automatic. Every step has a manual override. And afterward, paste the recording link — the webinar becomes an on-demand CE course in your member library.

Fully Automated with Zoom

Connect your own Zoom account and one tick creates the meeting with your event — join link, passcode, and dial-in included. Afterward, attendance imports itself from Zoom and certificates follow. (Bring your own Zoom subscription; it isn’t included.)

Any Video Tool Works

Prefer Teams, Google Meet, or Webex? Paste the link — registrants get it automatically, and every follow-up email still runs. Only attendance needs a hand: mark it in a click, or let evaluations count.

Your Level of Automation

Run everything by hand, automate one piece at a time, or let the whole pipeline go. OrgHQ gives your association the options — you choose the autopilot setting.

How OrgHQ Compares

Most associations run on a traditional membership platform, a self-installed script, or a heroic volunteer with a spreadsheet. Here's where OrgHQ is different.

OrgHQ Traditional AMS
Wild Apricot, SilkStart, Association Management Online
Self-hosted scripts
aMember Pro
Spreadsheets & email
Time to a working site Under a minute, self-serve Days to weeks; often starts with a demo call You install, host, and theme it yourself No member-facing site at all
Pricing model Free to start. No setup fee, no per-contact tiers, no long-term contract Monthly tiers that climb as your contact list grows License plus your own hosting, and your time is the real cost 'Free' — paid for in volunteer hours
Card payments One button — connect Stripe in about 5 minutes, money goes straight to your bank Varies; often tied to a specific processor or plan tier You wire up and maintain a payment gateway Paper checks and chasing people
Automatic reminders & renewals Usually, once configured Depends on plugins and setup
Event evaluations & CE certificates built in Extra modules or third-party tools Third-party tools By hand, if at all
On-demand learning (recordings, quizzes, CE) built in Usually a separate LMS add-on Third-party tools
Private board file library built in Varies by plan or module Depends on plugins A shared drive somebody owns
Treasurer’s ledger & board financial reports built in — import a bank/Xero CSV, get a Statement of Activities with MoM/YoY and a monthly board report Rare; usually you keep paying for Xero/QuickBooks on the side Third-party accounting tools A separate accounting subscription + manual reports
Weekly admin summary email
Who does the technical work Nobody has to. No plugins, updates, or servers — ever You, inside a large settings console You: hosting, updates, security patches, backups You, in your spare time
Your data Yours — export people and attendees to CSV anytime Export tools vary by plan Yours (it is your server) Scattered across files and inboxes

Switching from Wild Apricot or another AMS?

Bring your member list as a CSV and you are running the same afternoon — members, statuses, and expiry dates import in one step. No per-contact pricing cliff to plan around, and no annual contract to wait out.

Running aMember Pro or another self-hosted script?

Keep the control, lose the server. OrgHQ gives you your own branded site and member data exports without hosting, PHP upgrades, security patches, or backup scripts — there is simply nothing to maintain.

Still on Spreadsheets and Email?

You are the automation. OrgHQ takes over the repetitive parts — registration, payment collection, renewal chasing, event reminders, sign-in sheets, certificates — and your records finally live in one place your whole board can see.

Comparisons describe each approach's typical model, not any vendor's current price sheet — always check the latest details with each provider.

Common Questions

How much does it cost?
$60/month billed annually ($720/year), or $75 month-to-month — flat either way, with no setup fee, no contract, and no pricing tiers based on how many contacts you have. Every workspace starts with a free 14-day trial, no card required — build your site, import your members, and look around before you subscribe. When you take card payments, a small platform fee is added on top of Stripe's standard processing fee; the exact rate is shown in your admin before you connect payments, so there are never surprise charges. See the pricing page for the full breakdown.
Where does the money go when members pay?
Directly to your organization's own bank account, through your own Stripe account (we set it up for you with one button). OrgHQ never holds your money.
Do members need to create accounts and passwords?
No passwords, ever. Members sign in with a secure link sent to their email — the same way they verify themselves when registering for events.
We already have a member list. Can we bring it?
Yes — import a CSV from your spreadsheet or your current platform in one step, including membership statuses and expiry dates. Most organizations are fully moved in within an afternoon.
What if we want to leave?
Your data is yours — literally one button. The full workspace export downloads everything (people, events, registrations, dues history, news, board files, and your bookkeeping with receipts) as ordinary CSV and document files any product can read. Cancel anytime. No lock-in, no exit fees, no retention phone call.
Do we need a technical person?
No. There is nothing to install, update, patch, or back up. If you can fill in a form, you can run OrgHQ — and the product is designed so the site keeps working even when nobody logs in for a month.
Can it run our webinars?
Yes, end to end: publish the event, take registrations and payments, send the join link, pull attendance from Zoom, then send evaluations, compiled results, and CE certificates — automatically. Connect your own Zoom account for the full pipeline (a Zoom subscription isn't included), or paste a Teams/Meet/Webex link instead; with other tools every follow-up email still runs, and attendance is a one-click mark (or evaluations count). See webinars & online events.
Can members earn CE from a recording after the event?
Yes. Paste the recording link and it joins a recordings library in the member hub — for that event's registrants, or every active member, your choice. Enable on-demand CE and viewers earn the same branded certificate by watching the recording (the attestation is time-verified — it only unlocks after 75% of the program's length) and completing the evaluation, plus passing a quiz if you add one. See on-demand learning & CE.
